We ended up going to three of the Croatian islands! After Pag we tried to find sandy beaches. An island called Uglan was a huge mistake. It was 10pm when we arrived. We were trying to find a nice beach to spend the night in but ended up walking more than 3,5 hours lost in the olive gardens! Actually we weren't lost lost, just desperately trying to find a good spot without results. When we eventually got back to the center we found some unfinished building to sleep in. In the morning we both really wanted to get out of the island of disappointment, so we took a ferry to the next island! Next destination was Dugi Otok, a beautiful island with unbelievably clear water and really nice sandy beaches. We finally got to spend the night on the beach and snorkel in peace.
Both of us wanted to visit Montenegro so we hitchhiked from Dubrovnik to Herceg Novi. That wasn't easy! We hitchhiked for 4 hours till someone stopped! The locals said we looked like Montenegrian so that's probably why nobody picked us. Anyway, we finally got to our hotel which was booked already for five days. Budva was beautiful and we both enjoyed it, there was lot to do and see. We visited the capital almost everyday, Podgorica which was actually even cheaper than the beach town, Budva. After the relaxing five days in Budva, we both decided it was time to come back to Finland.
