So he called his travel agent who booked us ferry tickets & a hotel for the next day. Amazing trip where I felt like a queen! Fancy restaurants, my favorite drinks, a limousine drive, enjoying the sun, laughing a lot & hanging out with a good friend :)

Ja niin hän soitti matkajärjestäjälleen, joka hankki meille laivaliput sekä hotellin. Super hauska reissu, jossa tunsin itseni kuningattareksi! Kalliita ravintoloita, lempi drinkkejäni, limusiini ajelu, auringossa paistattelua, paljon naurua & hyvän ystävän seuraa :)

I fear driving no more - after facing the Latvian traffic...

My friend Katri wakes up & checks a message from me; "Surprise!! We have a hotel in Riga for three days, we'll start the trip when you wake up!"
     Mihkel & I both had friends over in the cottage. Katri & I did a spontaneous trip to Riga. 3,5 hours through the shitty roads of Latvia. Seriously the government isn't too generous when it comes to the condition of its roads. Anyway we made it there, and let me just say that the cheap prices compensates all of our complaints.

Ystäväni Katri herää & katsoo viestin multa; "Yllätys!! Varasin meille hotellin kolmeksi päiväksi Riikaan. Alotetaan matka ku heräät!"
     Mihkelin kanssa kutsuimme molemmat kavereita mökille seuraksi. Illanistujaisten jälkeen tehtiin Katrin kanssa spontaani reissu Riikaan. 3,5 tunnin ajomatka huonokuntoisia teitä pitkin Latvian pääkapunkiin todisti ettei maan hallitus laita paljoakaan rahaa teiden kunnostukseen. Onneksi maan yleinen halpa hintataso loppujen lopuksi kompensoi pienetkin epämukavuutemme.

Katri had her summer holiday so we were happy to host her here in this little summer paradise. South Estonia sure is a whole other experience compared to the usual alcohol-filled-Tallinn trips we Finnish tend to do. :D 

Katri tuli viettämään kesälomaansa tänne meiän ihanalle kesä paratiisille. Etelä-Viro on kyllä ihan oma kokemuksensa verrattuna suomalaisten känni-Tallinna-alkomoahooli-reissuihin :D
